What & Why

What is Window Film?

01
The Science
Window film is a multi-layer polyester laminate that works at the molecular level. It selectively filters the solar spectrum — blocking ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths independently while allowing visible light through. UV causes skin and material damage. IR is what you feel as heat. The film manages both, separately.
02
Hyderabad's Heat Problem
Temperatures regularly cross 40°C here. Without film, your cabin can hit 60–70°C in direct sun. Standard car glass blocks almost no infrared heat and very little UVA. Premium window film rejects up to 60% of solar heat — reducing AC load and making every drive far more comfortable.
03
Skin Cancer Protection
UVA rays pass silently through untreated car glass and damage skin on every drive. Research documents real cases of facial skin damage from years of unprotected window exposure. Quality window film blocks 99%+ UVA and UVB — passive protection every single day.
04
Interior Cabin Preservation
UV radiation fades dashboards, cracks leather, and destroys upholstery over time. Window film blocks the UV that causes this invisible, gradual damage — keeping your interior looking newer for longer, and preserving the resale value of your car.

Legal & Compliance

Is it approved by RTO?

What does Indian law say about window films?

The Supreme Court of India (2012) mandates minimum VLT levels. Front and rear windshields: minimum 70% VLT. Side windows: minimum 50% VLT. All aftermarket film must comply under the Motor Vehicles Act and CMVR Rule 100. We only install compliant films — no exceptions.

How much heat do window films actually reduce?

Premium films can reduce heat by 40–70%, depending on the type and specification.

Will window films affect visibility at night?

No. High-quality films are designed for high clarity, ensuring safe visibility both during the day and at night.

How long do window films last?

With proper installation and care, premium films can last 5–10 years without fading or bubbling.
